Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to events and circumstances in one's life or the world at large.
A belief is an attitude that something is the case, or that some proposition about the world is true.
A vision is a way to answer your own “why” of life. It gives you the reason for your actions, choices, hopes, and desires.
The term happiness is used in the context of mental or emotional states, including positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.
This grief and bereavement group will draw upon multiple theories and resources in order to structure its treatment plans and overall focus. While it may incorporate ideas present in stage theories such as Kubler Ross’s 5 Stages of Grief and Worden’s Four Tasks of Mourning, the group structure itself will not be presented in such rigid stages. The core theory of the group will instead be centered on The Dual Process Model of Grief.
The dual process model of coping with bereavement separates grief related behavior and experiences into two broad categories: Loss-oriented and restoration-oriented. Loss-oriented experiences focus on the loss itself, and it is here that we see the typical “grief work” that one imagines when thinking of treatment for grief.
