Volunteer Fundraiser

What is the job responsibility of a Volunteer Fundraiser?

Not-for-profit organizations rely on donations and funding. The Volunteer Fundraiser will work in conjunction with the Director of Fund Raising. 

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Approaching businesses, local authorities, and individuals to secure funding
  • organizing and helping with fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events, house-to-house, and street collections
  • recruiting volunteers and coordinating their work
  • planning donation campaigns and events.
  • Coming up with new ways to acquire funding
