Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to events and circumstances in one's life or the world at large.
A belief is an attitude that something is the case, or that some proposition about the world is true.
A vision is a way to answer your own “why” of life. It gives you the reason for your actions, choices, hopes, and desires.
The term happiness is used in the context of mental or emotional states, including positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.
TSHF is staffed by professionals with extensive experience mediating problematic behaviors that parents face daily. Our support groups are run by counselors sensitive to your parenting needs and create a safe space for all parents with similar experiences to visit and talk.
Our parent support groups are largely informal gatherings, with regularly scheduled group sessions where parents meet and talk about their worries, thoughts, problems, breakthroughs, hopes, frustrations, and moments of gratitude in a judgment-free and unbiased atmosphere.
Parents come here to share and breathe hope and define and break down despair together. They share critical resources and information, talk about treatments with professionals knowledgeable on coping mechanisms, parental self-care, and mundane life tips that are life-saving.
The Speak Hope Foundation provides life-changing affordable evidenced-based services to underserved communities who cannot meet the increasing cost of these mental health services. The foundation strives to promote improved mental well-being for all individuals and families through education, supportive services and advocacy.
